Tucked into a residential neighborhood in Big Bear City just minutes to the Lake and resorts, you're invited to our newest property that has been thoughtfully renovated to be big on comfort and charm! This chalet style cabin has been remodeled from the ground up. Under the soaring windows, you'll find modern appliances, thoughtful conveniences, technology, and a private back patio with hot tub to make your stay in the mountains so inviting, you won't want to go home!

Good to know

Our cabin feels much more spacious than it is with the abundant light that pours into the main living area from the two massive A-frame windows on the front facade. Downstairs you will find the main living area with a TV, and infrared wall fireplace that flows into a modern and well equipped kitchen with everything you need including refrigerator, gas stove, full size microwave, food disposal, coffee maker, pots, pans and all the dishes for your stay. Outside the fully fenced back yard is great for dining or relaxing in the 4 person hot tub . The main bedroom has a king size bed and closet and the full bathroom features a tub/shower combo with rainfall shower head. No need to bring any bedding or towels, we also provide bed/bath linens and limited toiletries like shampoo/conditioner/shower gel, and a hair dryer. An open style loft is upstairs that also takes advantage of those large front windows. This is bedroom #2 and it includes a queen size bed, one twin bed, and walk in closet. We love this location for it's rustic modern vibe and easy accessibility to all Big Bear Lake has to offer. Just a short walk away you will find Big Bear Snow Play recreation center and the location of Oktoberfest, Big Bear Lakes premier fall festival headquarters. By car, you are just minutes from Bear Mountain and Snow Summit Resorts, Big Bear Lake east boat launches and beaches, as well as numerous hiking trails.

Other Details to Note

Cleaning Fee $125 Covers basic cleaning. Basic cleaning includes washing all linens, dusting and vacuuming, disinfecting, and cleaning bathrooms. Please remove all trash and place it in the bins outside the property. Excessive cleaning will be charged to the guest on a case by case basis. The person making reservation who is listed on the Airbnb account must be present for the entire length of the reservation and must be an adult 25 years or older. No exceptions. Check in is at 3pm. Check out is 11am. If utilizing the lock box at the property, please be aware that the codes are not active until 3pm on your reservation date and are invalid after 11am on your check out date. Keys must be replaced in the lock box before this to avoid being locked out. Key replacement $50 Your privacy is important to us! There is a security camera which monitors the outside front entrance area of the property. There are no cameras or monitoring devices inside the cabin, it is 100% private. Our general rule is to treat our home the same way you would like your home treated. We have put a lot of thought and work into making your time here both memorable and enjoyable and we hope you will come back often! Guest capacity at any time during reservation period is not to exceed 6 persons and 2 vehicles. Parking on driveway only. No parties or events to be held on premises No pets No Smoking inside house Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 7am daily. This is a Big Bear Lake / San Diego County municipal code. Additionally, no noise shall be heard coming from the cabin when standing on the property line at any time of the day. These noise ordinances are strictly enforced and can result in fines to the guest by the city if violated. The person listed on the reservation must be present and stay the entire length of the reservation. Third party reservations are prohibited by Airbnb policy Person listed on reservation must be 25 years old or more in order to book this listing. No exceptions. No firearms/firearms use is permitted on the property or in the residence. This includes BB or pellet style guns Dirty dishes should be washed and can be left in sink or dish strainer to dry The cleaning fee covers washing and changing of bed linens and towels, vacuuming, washing floors, bathroom toilets, tubs and showers, wiping out the refrigerator, microwave and oven, dusting furniture, light fixture, artwork and blinds. Anything above and beyond this will be considered excess cleaning and will be charged at $25 per area/occurrence. Some examples of excess cleaning charges are: evidence of pets or pet accidents, vomit, dirty dishes, or trash left in cabin or around property. Lost or broken items will be charged according to their replacement value up to the deposit amount

Big Bear City is a mix of residential neighborhoods with pockets of smaller private businesses. Our neighborhood borders the western side of Big Bear City right next to the Fox Farm neighborhood of Big Bear Lake. At the cross street of Division and Big Bear Blvd, you will see the "Twin Bear" statues at Twin Bear Equipment Rentals which once stood on either side of the Boulevard and welcomed weary travelers to the Big Bear Valley in a bygone era. We ask that you respect our neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum and staying within the property boundaries. You are welcome and encouraged to take full advantage of all it has to offer, but we ask that you be mindful of and respect the neighbors private property.

Our guests at Eagle's Nest have full access to the entire property and parking on the driveway for 2 vehicles. Easy check in provided via lock/box and agent who will meet you at the property or you can stop by the office a short distance away.

Host, Robb was very responsive when we reached out. The place is in a great location but yet quiet at night time. Easy access to all the activities. The only thing is bathroom is at a smaller size so hard to fit more than one person when you have kids. Other than that, we enjoyed staying here very much.

Booked a stay with my kids last minute to get some snow time in. Spacious front yard to play in the snow. Modern decorated cabin, stayed warm all night and plenty of blankets. The kids loved the loft area and we all slept great.

This cabin was just what we needed for a little escape to the mountains for a couple of days. It felt cozy, had everything we needed, and the decor was lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub and loved that it was so close to the convention center and the North Shore lookout point, which has one of the best sunsets. Just a heads up, the beds are on the firm side, but it was fine for a couple of nights. Overall, a great stay!

Attractions within walking distance include Wyatt's (home of the famous Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest) same location hosts a Tuesday flea market during late spring through early fall, Snow Play recreation center which is open year round for go-karting, ropes courses in the summer, and sledding in the winter. By car it is a short trip to the zoo, east side of the lake boat launch, swim beaches, numerous dining options, as well as both resorts, Bear Mountain and Snow Summit.
